NOTE FROM SELLER:
Rare original 10" 78 RPM single released on Flair Records in 1954. This is a classic electric blues recording from the legendary slide guitarist Elmore James, backed by his group The Broomdusters.
Label: Flair Records – 1057
Year: 1954
Format: 10" Shellac, 78 RPM
Country: USA
Tracks:
Standing At The Crossroads (FL-217)
Sunny Land (FL-216)
Runouts / Matrix: FL-216 / FL-217 (machine-stamped)
This is one of Elmore James’ most sought-after releases, capturing his raw slide guitar sound and powerful vocals. Both tracks are considered essential blues classics.
The record shows a visible chip on the outer edge (see photos). It does not affect the play-in grooves but should be handled with care. Labels are in good condition with some signs of handling and light writing.
A very scarce and collectible 1950s blues 78, perfect for serious collectors of early electric blues and Sun/Flair label history.
