Resolution Process

The resolution process seems to have become very 'eBayesque' in its implementation where one seems to go around in circles getting absolutely nowhere due to computer generated emails being the standard response.

I had a dispute that started as an unpaid item problem and I went through the resolution process. This has escalated the an unjustified negative which I want removed but there is no way of doing this because you cannot have two dispute procedures on the same item and I simply get the same computer generated response when I try to use the first dispute to remedy this!

Anyway I am giving up and not wasting anymore time with a dispute process that seems to achieve absolutely nothing except go around in circles.

As a newbie to this site (registered only for a couple of months), I ran into a very similar problem.

Non-paying buyer - I started the resolution process. After a full month I left negative feedback and claimed my fees back, only to receive a neg fb stating that they hadn't paid me because I didn't accept Moneybookers.

I did accept that payment method and realized I couldn't start a 2nd resolution process to have an unjustified neg removed. It was removed after I made direct contact with Seb himself - someone on the forum kindly gave me his email address.

If the case you are referring to is the one I think, you have also received a feedback that is a lie and from someone with a quite poor fb score - I would contact Delcampe directly and explain the situation and ask them to remove the feedback.

Nowadays, I don't bother with the process for non-payment. Although I request payment within 7 days, I am much more patient than that. I send several payment reminders and if nothing is forthcoming, I leave neg and report it as an unpaid item. If a buyer retaliates with a neg I than have the option to use the resolution process to have such a fb removed.

Thanks for your input Mainly - appreciated. I have always bypassed the Resolution process in the past as, in my opinion, it is a waste of time. But one can only go through this now and the blind spot is that if you start one for non payment you are hamstrung if you get clobbered with false negative retaliation.

The whole situation is both cumbersome and misleading. Presumably this is in order to save Delcampe time by making complainants give up. Personally I found the computer generated emails extremely annoying - and as said previously - something that seems to be inherited from eBay.

I have given up trying to get that negative removed as I am not prepared to waste any more time over it. In fact I have totally given up with the Resolution process which is a time consuming joke that resolves absolutely nothing. So any retaliatory negatives can now stay as it is not worth the effort any more to challenge them.
