I agree. Shipping information are sometimes (often ?) missing. I think that most of sellers are honest. And they will not charge false expensive S&H fees. But if you have any doubts, just ask the seller.

For catalogues, you should remember that this site is developped in Belgium and the first sellers/buyers were Belgian or French. Of course, it is changing. But there are still more sellers from Belgium, France, or Switzerland than from other countries. And also more buyers.

Yvert-et-Tellier catalogues are more easy to find in these countries than Scott catalogue. And really less expensives. Another fact is that the cotations in Scott catalogue does not reflect what's happens in our philatelic market (but I guess that no catalogue really does...). Scott catalogues are not usually used in western Europe...

I have only 2 old Scott catalogues (Classic and Commonwealth), and I do not use them on Delcampe because I would take to much time... I always put a picture of the stamps, and I try to give both Yvert and Michel numbers... But it take times, and when you have to put a lot of items online...

For Michel catalogues, I am a lucky man. I speak a little bit of German. But my wife is bilingual. An I can easily buy Michel products (I live near Germany...). It si not common. As I really enjoy these catalogues, I use them the more I can. But as for Scott catalogues, they are not so easy to find in France for most people...

Michel catalogues will be used more often when Delcampe will have a German version of the site... (I have sometimes speak with German people and they don't want to go on Delcampe because of the languages... Even English is not enough !). A German version is announced for 2004. Great !!!
