    Having problems understanding source of the F.P.O 308 mark shown.

    Any help on this would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

    This letter passed by the Field Post Office (see Link (https) or by the Fleet Post Office (see Link (http) bureau 308, on September 12 1917.
    Seems quite normal to me, as it is clearly an example of military correspondence?

    This letter passed by the Field Post Office (see Link (https) or by the Fleet Post Office (see Link (http) bureau 308, on September 12 1917.
