If your buyer paid you in US Dollars instead of Pounds Sterling I would have Emailed him and pointed out your prices were Sterling prices and asked the buyer to either pay the difference or given him the option of cancelling the transaction.

If he paid you in Sterling and the conversion rate used by Skrill meant you received a lower amount then there is nothing you can do about that except to insist payment is in sterling. Unfortunately Skrill charge you when you refund a wrong payment!

You will find the same can also occur with Paypal. Some US buyers seem to think nothing else exists except for the US Dollar and will pay invoices in that currency come what may! With Paypal it is easier and less hassle to refund and ask for the correct amount.
