Hello Rpstamps,

I used as reference the following stamp (first stamp):

Venda - 1984 - History of Writing - First Day Collectors Sheet

and it looks like it is Cuneiform sign - The Iraq stamp has the later development of this writing. (I guess you refer to the "writing"behind Dudu the scibe).

A partial "alphabet" can be found over here:
