All payments are made through the Delcampe website. Depending on the possibilities offered by the seller, you can use PayPal, add a credit/debit card or make a bank transfer to top up your balance. No payments are made by cheque or bank transfer directly to the seller.

The buyer uses the payment methods available on Delcampe on the page"My purchases : Awaiting payment".

A payment that is not sent through the payment system integrated into the website (if accepted by the seller) or Mangopay will be refunded by the seller to the buyer. An unpaid purchase may result in consequences to the buyer's account.

If the seller's sales conditions include additional clauses relating to payment, these are to be considered null and void. The payment conditions of the Delcampe website, as defined in the conditions of use, are the only ones applicable.

Purchases must be paid for within 14 days of receipt of the final statement from the seller.

Specific conditions:

Paypal buyers: Courier is compulsory due to the high levels of fraud and theft by buyers using postal services.

Tracked mail will only be offered to trusted repeat buyers.

SOUTH AFRICAN POST OFFICE INSOLVENCY

In August 2023 the South African Post Office was declared insolvent, and placed under business administration.

International mail service is either very limited, or has ceased entirely to many countries. I am no longer able to offer mail service to most buyers due to the following reasons:
1) Exceptionally long delivery times (3+ months).
2) Fraudulent claimbacks (theft) by buyers who have received their items.
3) Harassment, abuse, and rudeness from buyers who insist on using mail service. (Germany & Netherlands)

A physical delivery address and a delivery telephone number is required by ALL courier services. If you are unwilling to provide this information, please do not order.

If you wish to use your own delivery service account and pay for shipping directly, you are welcome to arrange this. Please ensure your delivery service offers collections in South Africa.

If you wish to pay for delivery through an online booking with your preferred delivery service, you are welcome to do so. All aspects of booking your shipment, including customs declarations, will be your responsibility.

If you wish to have your order delivered in South Africa (eg. to friends/family, or while visiting), you are welcome to do so. Please place your order at least 2 weeks in advance of your intended delivery date.
