Attention Moderators - Category Abusage

    Will somebody on here please sort out the blatant category abusage that is going on with regard to philatelic listings. This is most obvious in the categories for the former French Colonies where modern post-independence rubbish, that nobody wants, is being bulk loaded into these areas. The former colonies categories are in most cases clearly dated, so there should be no excuse for these transgressions by so-called "professional sellers"

    Take a look at Stamps->Europe->French Colonies->Tchad ( or Chad ) for example, where most of the listed material belongs under Stamps->Africa->Tchad.

    Similar abusage is to be found under Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, and many others.

    Browsing on here has become very tedious with users having to wade through page after page of this rubbish

    @4margins I hope the problem is solved now. If you see more like this in such quantities it's good to report them.
    (only auctions from auctioneers cann't be removed by moderators. Sorry)

    The problem is most definitely NOT solved. Rogue listings for Tchad ( or Chad ) seem to have been posted again today!

    You are right. Unfortunately 2 hours of removing the items to the right category was undone by API from this dealer. So I have reported the situation to the staff. They will take care of it, but it will take some time. That's all I can tell you right now.
