Invoice fields

Has anyone worked out what the fields marked 'Payment' and 'Other' are for?

I assumed the first was for marking down any partial or up-front payments made on account but the input must be positive, and the second? It's not postage so what is it?

    Payment : + GBP
    Other : + GBP

Also, when I add the postage in to the relevant box, does it show up under 'Other fees' on the invoice sent out? It makes it look like I'm trying to fleece my buyer

We need more visibility and accuracy!

    Hi Allan,

I've wondered exactly the same thing.I've no idea what "payment" and "other" are meant for and the invoice that is sent says "purchases" + "other". In French it says "various fees" and in German it says "total".

    Another instance of poor translation.

I think these boxes are for those that gouge extra funds for using Paypal etc. and for adding the Registration fee where this is an 'extra'. The latter I use the bottom box for.

I like that term - "gouge"; very pithy

If your suggestion is correct then the field name we are looking for is...
