Multiple operations

    What does it mean? Every time I try to use "Multiple operation", I receive a database reply " This action cannot be done. The number of items which need to be modified is too large."

    Does anybody know what "Too large means"? What is the limit for multiple operations: 5 items, 15???

    Did anyone succeed using this function?

    I use it regularly, sometimes modifying my entire stock (20k+ items) in one go.

    I have a feeling that there is a limit of 50K, but I'm not sure of it.

    Occasionally when the site is very busy that message pops up.

    Try again in a few hours time or split up the total number of items you want to change and do it in several steps.

    I have 4700 to modify - no way in the morning, evening , weekdays, weekends.

    I already did and was told that the number is too large!!!
    I removed some manually. now there are less than 3000 and still " This action cannot be done. The number of items which need to be modified is too large."


    What is a reasonable number for multiple operations: 3, 5???
