    In my search for errors in postmarks, I have come across many (usually unaddressed) UK FDC's from the 60's and 70's with a date which is one month or one year off. Always one month or one year, not e.g. one day or two months. So many that I strongly suspect they have been manufactured by deliberately altering the date. :thumbdown:

    I actually started thinking I might try to get a "complete" collection of those :D but I have stopped buying them instead.

    I have seen similar FDCs from other countries too, recently got one from Tajikistan with the year 2002 on stamps issued in 2005, but nowhere as many as UK FDCs from the 60's and 70's. So, not very rare I think, but uncommon yes.
