    In view of the current situation worldwide regarding the current pandemic crisis it is hardly surprising that sales have fallen off a cliff.

    Currently I am still trading but am wondering if it is not better to simply close everything down until this crisis passes and blows over. Lots of countries have suspended mail services and it is possible that will happen here in the UK eventually.

    I'm still undecided as to what, if any, action I should take and am wondering what the thought are of both buyers and sellers here on Delcampe.

    The problem will really arise if the UK goes to a 'lockdown' situation, similar to some if not most EU countries. Then, presumably, even if the mail is collected, presumably it will not be legitimate to go out to actually post the mail in the first place. I don't as yet know whether to continue selling, promising buyers that I will send their orders as soon as I can or just suspend selling.

    I think a positive attitude is more important,than getting depressed about what may or not happen.No one has a crystal ball,and if the mail stops...so what! Focus on living the best we can and keep a positive attitude,it is a much healthier way to get through this stressful time.
    Everyone needs to get out for food and essential reasons.Just avoid
    crowds,wash your hands often and stay home if possible.This pandemic will pass.The number of new cases in China are very encouraging and new medicines are being worked on today. Wishing everone to remain well and please keep positive...this will pass.

    I live in Italy and for now I have managed to ship almost all the items I sold on Delcampe observing all the rules that have been suggested to us by our scientists and imposed by our government.
    I think this is possible in all countries.
    The world will win over the coronavirus

    That is exactly what I have been considering to do. Domestic shipping only.

    As far as levels of sales are concerned: for me it is about 8% of normal sales.

    I would be interesting to hear from others, what kind of sales they are achieving.
