My previous response was in reference to the statement: 'If a seller deletes a sale, no notification is provided.'
Currently, no XML notification is sent when a sale cancellation is accepted.
However, I have added this request to our backlog for further analysis. The workflow surrounding sale cancellations is complex, as cancellations can be initiated by both buyers and sellers, and it’s also possible for cancellations to be revoked.
Hello, the case: A buyer orders something, 5 minutes later he remembers that he wants to cancel the purchase... or the buyer simply doesn't pay, it happens often enough...
Basically, the buyer should be able to cancel the purchase himself if he hasn't paid for it yet. This saves all the communication and work involved in such a process. In this case, it would of course be necessary for the cancellation to be sent via notification. Automatic reinstatement must not take place, this must be triggered in the seller's inventory management system. Best regards

A buyer should not be able to cancel a purchase on their own. There should be a request to the seller and it should only be cancelled if the seller agrees. Otherwise we will soon start seeing an endless number of prank purchases that are then cancelled again after three minutes.
Well, I don't see it that way. For example, eBay has it, as does Amazon. In addition, the situation is such that the buyer has the right to cancel anyway, so why should the seller have to do the work in such cases? If there are fake purchases made for fun, the buyer's account can be blocked. The amount of time sellers spend on Delcampe is currently many times higher than on other platforms and this needs to be adjusted quickly. Best regards
