New seller with no feedback only accepts bank transfers. Could this be a scam?

Personally I would not buy from them unless they offered a payment system that protected me as a buyer - like Paypal or a credit card.

And if I had an interest in their items I would inform them of this. I certainly would not buy from them otherwise.

Yes, it can be a scam. Especially if new seller has 0 feedback. Once I transferred some Euro to such seller and have never received the item I bought. His account was closed.
