In England other in U.S.A. ???

Qui pourrais me conseiller ? Oû dois-je placer cette carte dans toutes les rubriques ? Il s'agit d'une carte réclame probablement de l'Angleterre ou des Etats-Unis.
S'agit-il d'une litho ? Merci de vos avis.

    Thank you !

    Hello,

Most likely Ireland, view advertisement attached. (Ballagaderrin=Ballaghadereen=Ireland)
    Yes, it's a litho.
    Category to be placed: postcards-themes-advertising

A very nice card too, I must add.

That's a lovely card. Would the reverse give any clues or is it blank?
I'd list it under advertising postcards.

I thank you. The chart virgin, is not written. Just in the place of the stamp, it there a: Affix 1/2 D. or P Stamp. I do not wish to place this chart under the heading " thème" (Topics, Thematic). There it will not be sold. I wish to place this chart under the heading " Angleterre" or " Irlande" but not under the heading " Autres" because the regulator (Moderateur) will move it in Topics, Thematic. Where this " is originating; Is Rockligt in England or Irelande? Which city, which place. Thank you for your councils.

I think Rocklight is the brand name, not a place.

I still think you should put it in advertising. It will sell, if you sell it for a reasonable price.
Rocklight oil was made by "A" Consolidated Petroleum Co. Ltd.
I'm writing "A" and not "THE", because in archives there are evidences of a Consolidated Petroleum Co. Ltd. in several states of the USA, in Canada, in the UK and in Ireland. So either there was more than one company of that name, or the company had offices just about everywhere.

I can show you an American newspaper clipping from 1900 that talks about "A" Consolidated Petroleum Co. Ltd with main office in Los Angeles.

I can tell you that Consolidated Petroleum Co. Ltd., owners of Rocklight, had a yard adjacent to Wickham Market Station (UK) in 1911.

Does this mean you should put the card under California, Los Angeles or under UK, England, Suffolk (Wickham Market) ?
I don't think so, because it has nothing to do with the topography of both places.

About the name Rocklight Oil: in the late 1800's rock oil was a commonly used synonym for mineral Oil. (view mineral oil in Wikipedia for reference)

Thank you for your information and your invaluable councils. I do not know l' English. I work with the automatic translator. I thus place this object under Advertising. The price ? No idea. I look at much d' other charts. I do not find that one. Lately I must pay 200 euros for a rare chart. Thus my price here is perhaps reasonable! Cordially.
