I bought a sheet of mint mainly pre-decimal stamps from a thrift shop a couple of weeks ago for £9. I want to add this to my collection. I have previously removed hinges on used stamps, using a damp sable brush and tweezers with a great outcome. I am not sure if I should do the same with these - or just use a blade to and leave part of the hinge attached? Thanks for any advice. Picture attached - all are on 1 A4 sheet (normal paper).

You don't want to damage the gum side with moisture. Depending on the hinges, try to slowly peel one off.If it comes off easily try others. If they are too strong just leave them.
