2010 100 anni. of National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) Stamps. Formosa(Taiwan), Rep of China.
First day of issued: Nov. 01,2010.
Set of 2 stamps printed as a se-tenant pair. The designs follow:
1. NT$5 Stamp: Showing NTUT’s long history. On the right side of the stamp is an image of the old campus gate on Bade Road from 1940. On the left is a red brick building, a municipal historic site that was built around 1918. The last remaining school building from its earliest days, the building is symbol and bastion of school spirit. This elegant building is a favorite spot for students to pose for pictures in their graduation robes.
2. NT$25 Stamp: Demonstrating NTUT’s modern architecture. The right side of the stamp depicts the school’s new campus gate on Zhongxiao East Road, and the left side of the stamp features the campus’ Sixth Instructional Building and Technology Building, which were completed in 2008. The overall composition conveys a modern, high-tech sense － symbolizing that NTUT is always striving to keep up with the times.
