1937-53 KGVI VERY FINE USED - AWESOME SPECIALISED COLLECTION! displayed in an album with expertly annotated album pages, this amazing collection shows very fine c.d.s. used stamps, arranged by issue, this fastidious collector also sought out many covers he considered would enhance the collection. The collection begins with the 1937-8 definitives, then 1942-8 War Effort defins, 1946-7 Peace Reconversion defins set, 1949-51 & 1950 defins sets, all accompanied by selections of different pre-cancels, coil stamps, booklets stamps and a number of complete booklet panes, each cancelled and thus hard to find. We see these values used on illustrated FDCs, plus airmail covers and first flights. Collection continues with "Back of the Book" issues, note Special Delivery complete from 1935-46 (SG S8/S17) plus several perfin or ovptd for Official use, Officials 1937-8 3c & 5c, then largely complete from 1939 SG type O2 perfin issues and later "O.H.M.S." & "G" ovpts to 1952-3 $1 ultramarine (SG O120/O192), collection ends with some lovely commemorative stamp items from 1937 Coronation on various illustrated FDCs, through to the 1951 Royal Visit, most issues with illustrated FDC, note 1939 Royal Visit set in blocks of four on three illustrated FDCs.
