Interesting commemorative issue of the King Birendra Bir Bikram (1972-2001) with logo in attractive condition. The logo consists of the highest mountain on the planet Everest with symbols of Nepal the Sun and the Moon incused in it. The slogan 'visit nepal'98' has intentional misspelling of the country name, in this way it is more memorized. Though the year VS2054 corresponds 1997, there is no mistake there for the last months of VS2054 were in 1998. The King with His family was killed during a diner in His residence by His people in 2001. It reduced the value of the slogan: not many wish to visit country where even local citizens are not safe.
