The Skylane will fly up to 1,215 miles with optional extended range tanks, and the 182 has a maximum range (with optional extended range tanks) of 1,190 miles. Both the Skylane and the 182 have a useful load in excess of half a ton. An 18,900-foot service ceiling and a sea level rate of climb (at full gross weight) of 980 feet per minute testify to an ideal balance of both power and payload. One look at the Skylane interior and you know the
"no compromise" standards to which it is built Uphoistery, fashioned from the finest fabrics and vinyis, is handled tastefully and presented in rich colors. Throughout the cabin, you'll find appoint.ments and conveniences that contribute to relaxation and enjoyment. The deeply carpeted floor is completely flat. All seats have adjustable reclining backs and optional headrests. The front seats of each airplane adjust fore and aft. Manual or electrical vertical adjusting seats are available. A center aisle permits changing seats in flight. All seats fold forward for easy loading. A luggage area and optional utility shelf are located behind the rear seats.
Other features include efficient cabin heating and ventilating system, optional oxygen system with individual outlets for each seat, padded sun visors (standard on Skylane), armrests, headrests (op-tional), ashtrays, lighters, map pockets, and magazine compartments.
The Skylane and 182 cabins are designed for fourseat in the baggage area. Both feature two yard-wide doors with a newly designed positive fingertip rotary door latch.

It's the top step in the Cessna step-up series. It's big enough, fast enough, powerful enough to satisfy essentially every operating requirement expected of a single-engine airplane.
It has an expensive feel and look to it. It opens wide the eyes and imaginations of men with big plans and big flying requirements. Its 285-horsepower, fuel-injected engine provides the power to send the Super Skylane through the sky at speeds up to 174mph! It will carry six adults, full fuel plus a moderate supply of luggage behind the fifth and sixth seats. The aft area is accessible through a large waist-high baggage door. A big 300-pound capacity fiberglass Cargo-Pack may be simply attached to the underside of the Super Skylane if more luggage or cargo space is needed.
The Super Skylane will range 810 miles on standard fuel (65 gallons) taking off with a useful load of more than three-quarters of a ton. With optional extended fuel (84 gallons), its range is increased to more than a thousand miles.
