- De auteur was een nicht van Graaf Bentinck, in wiens kasteel Keizer Wilhelm II anderhalf jaar verbleef na zijn vlucht naar Nederland en waar hij ook zijn troonsafstand tekende. Nadien verhuisde hij naar Huize Doorn waar hij in 1941 overleed. Deze publicatie is zeer scherp voor de ex-Keizer en hij zette zich er bij de publicatie dan ook hard tegen af. Belangrijk document met origineel blauw verkoopsbandje nog aanwezig.
