Baïonnette allemande K98 Sawback par J.A. Henckels,WW2. fourreau acier . Il s'agit d'une baïonnette de la WW2 rare qui possède un bouton-pression fonctionnel et une fente pour s'adapter à un fusil. La lame est marquée du logo et du nom du fabricant "J. A. Henckels Zwillingswerk" et d'une image des "Dancing Twins" au-dessus au dos un symbole " C sur a I " couronnée. . Les plaquettes en bois sont maintenues par deux rivets. La garde est standard, courbée vers le haut d'un côté et le pommeau est du type tête d'oiseau standard. Le fourreau est tout en acier. Une très belle combinaison rare et complète. (Voir White & Watts )

German K98 Sawback Bayonet by J.A. Henckels,WW2. Steel scabbard. This is a rare WW2 bayonet that has a working snap and slot to fit a rifle. The blade is marked with the maker's logo and name "J. A. Henckels Zwillingswerk" and a picture of the "Dancing Twins" above on the back a crowned "C over a I" symbol. The wooden scales are held in place by two rivets. The guard is standard, curved upwards on one side and the pommel is the standard bird's head type. The scabbard is all steel. A very nice rare and complete combination. (See White & Watts )
