Terms of sale and Terminology
Philately (F) and Numismatics (N)
1) F]
The pictures are an integral part of the description, therefore we do not accept
cancellations motivated by centering, margins, perforations, position and quality of
cancellations, restored addresses, paper inclusions or creases or other characteristics
detected on the picture itself. The certificates attached to the lots mentioned in the
catalogue and published on the website (https://www.ponteonline.com) are an integral
part of the lot description.
2) N]
The state of conservation is a subjective opinion. Since it is possible to view the lots
directly, disputes will not be accepted regarding the state of conservation indicated
in the catalogue.
3) F+N]
All items offered, unless otherwise specified, are guaranteed authentic and corresponding to the description given in the catalogue, even if it differs from the attached and cited certificates.
4) F+N]
The examples of greater value are often accompanied by signatures or certificates
of the best known experts or expert association. The auctioneer reserves the right to
accept or reject extensions. The extensions are always at the expense and responsibility of the buyer, who may request them independently, after having paid the
amount due and collected the lots. In order to reverse a lot, it is necessary to provide
one certificate in excess to that or those attached to the lot.
5) F+N]
For no reason will complaints be accepted for:
I) defects or characteristics mentioned in the catalogue or in the attached
certificates, which can be seen in the picture or from a direct view of
the lot during previews.
II) lots described as defective, of mixed quality or with the indication
“to be inspected”.
III) all lots consisting of more than 10 items not individually described and,
in general, all accumulations and collections.
IV) F] the presence of expert or commercial marks, Italian oir foreign, affixed to
letters or stamps.
6) F]
For lots and collections, the indication or s obtained through an examination
by experts carried out on a sample basis, therefore the presence, in the same lots, of
examples belonging to other categories such as used or hinged for example cannot
be excluded even if not indicated.
7) F]
The color classification of the stamps cannot be a reason for cancellation, unless and
only in the case of or following the presentation of one or more extensions (see point
4) and if the stamp appears to have a greater or equal value to that indicated in the lot
description, according to the latest edition of the Sassone Catalogue.
