    "Perception (fr)" means either "perception (en)", that is to say a general term for the senses: view, hearing, touch, etc.; and it also means "collection, receipt, levying" of money: tax, duty, rent...

    In the sentence "bureau de perception" only the second meaning is correct, that would be a "tax office", "revenue office"...

    The tax officer is called "le percepteur".

    Perception = Einziehung von Steuer
    Percepteur = Finanzbeamter
    Bureau de perception = Finanzamt
    Percevoir = Steuer erheben ; Geld einnehmen

    In gute Deutsch:
    Le percepteur ist der Mann der das Geld kassiert in Name der Staat, Er sitzt in seine Bureau beim Finanzamt oder in Ihre Fall er sitzt bei der Poste und kassiert das Geld in Name der Post. Alle Post Agentur war damals nicht als "Bureau de perception" eingestuft.Um Eine Korrekt Antwort zu sagen ,musst ich mehr erfaren.
    Ich bitte um Entschuldigung wenn meine Deutsch nicht Korrekt ist aber ich habe nicht Deutschunterricht gehabt sondern nur französich.Ich kommt aus Belgien.
