Your bank account is located outside the economic zone

    Dear Members and Admins,

Could someone please help me understand why I am unable to transfer the funds from my MangoPay account to my local bank account until next month?

The system indicates that my bank account is located outside the economic zone of the currency, and therefore my next withdrawal is only possible at a later date. I would appreciate any clarification on this matter.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. :xmas_smholod: :)

    Kind regards,
    Merlion

    Hello,

    Thank you for your email.

This is because the currency of your account is not in the same zone as your bank account (interchange fees). Below is some information about the withdrawal restriction we have activated:

Delcampe has introduced this restriction on withdrawals outside certain zones because we are charged exorbitant fees for each of these transactions. This measure was recommended to us by our banking partner Mangopay.

The restriction is based on geographical zones and not on a list of individual countries. These zones were defined by our payment partner, not by Delcampe. Unfortunately, your location is outside the zone where withdrawals are free of charge. Your bank account and currency are in different zones, which means that your next withdrawal can only be made on the scheduled date.

We are currently working on a solution that will allow sellers to choose the timing of their payouts. However, this option will incur fees per payout, which will have to be borne by the seller. The introduction of this new solution is planned for February 2026.

Since the introduction of SCA and PSD (EU legislation for payment service providers), addresses outside the defined zones can also cause technical blockages that did not exist before.

Please note that Delcampe is by no means the only provider that restricts payouts. For example, Rakuten also limits the number of payouts from Mangopay balances and even sets a minimum amount.

We fully understand that the current situation is not ideal for you, but we have to regularly adapt our working methods and the behavior of the website to new requirements and situations. We never do this lightly and always with user-friendliness in mind, even if this sometimes leads to restrictions, as in this case.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Kind regards,

    Update:
Today I got credit of Mangopay, very shocking to know that for my withdrawal of 75.00 Euros from Delcampe to my bank in India, the net loss of 18% charged. And this charges are not transparent which intermediate on what basis of charges. The receiver bank in India says, you check with the sender intermediate. Where else, Paypal charges are more transparent and reflective. Paypal charges are half of Mangopay. One more hurdle is created by Dalcampe or may be Mangopay, I can withdraw monthly once from Delcampe Mangopay balance.

I think this is a great injustice to seller for forcing to accept Mangopay as option and in turn Delcampe / Mangopay enjoys sellers money for days together.

I think Dalcampe website should also accept a option of Unified Payment Interface (UPI), developed by India, many countries are part of UPI now, and slowly growing strong and reliable with very less Forex charges and payment is on 'real time'

Off course Mangopay has tightened the Noose around the Neck of Delcampe Sellers.

    It is classic procedure.

First, get rid of Cash, Cheques, Bank Transactions directly between Seller and Buyer.

Then, you introduce your own 'New System' a payment option as 'Free' to get and 'Free' to use on Delcampe. Sellers get along and start using the system (no other way to make it work on the Site, Paypal costs, Mangopay does not).

Then you, without warning to the Users, you restrict them, by limiting their withdrawl options, under the excuse that it is their 'Partner' is doing it!

Why are we not informed, BEFORE it 'suddenly' is a problem?

Mangopay has not placed a noose, but in fact it is Delcampe. Mangopay operates outside Delcampe and Delcampe pays them for this service. I have always maintained that any problems that arise from transactions with Mangopay are the responsibility of Delcampe. It was Delcampe that hired Mangopay...not the sellers or buyers on Delcampe.

Very sad that Delcampe / Mangopay is adopting as Mangopay is mandotory for accepting payment for sellers. My balance is withheld by Delacampe for now allowing me to withdraw my balance (I can withdraw once in a month) Moreover the net commission charged by Mangopay is very substantial compare to other ppayment option. This policy by Delcampe is like monopoly law.

Try adding the same bank account again (as an additional account). Today I saw a message in my Delcampe saying my bank account was not a domestic account . I added my bank account again and that message was not on the 'new' bank account, and I was able to withdraw money straight away.
