Zuid Soedan is onafhankelijk geworden op 9 juli 2011. De eerste postzegels zijn op 13 juli uitgegeven. Deze postzegels zijn een gift van China. Slechts twee waarden zijn uiteindelijk vrijgegeven: 1 Zuid-Soedanese Pond (SSP), met de nieuwe vlag van Zuid-Soedan en 3,5 SSP, met een portret van Dr John Garang met als achtergrond typisch Zuid-Soedanees landschap. De waarde van 2.5SSP is ingetrokken omdat in plaats van het wapen van Zuid-Soedan, het Wapen van het noorden was gebruikt. Deze verkoop is slechts voor de postzegel van 1 SSP.
MNH 2011 - South Sudan became independent on 9 July 2011, and the first set of stamps was issued on 13 July 2011. They were a gift of China. Only two values were released: 1 South Sudanese Pound (SSP - National Flag) and 3.5 SSP (Dr John Garang, late leader of the South Sudanese struggle for independence). This sale concerns the stamp of 1SSP only.

Priority international postage cost for stamps in single envelope is euro 1.90 (or equivalent in usd) up to 20 grs. Till 50 grs is euro 3.50. Cost-saving combined shipments possible, please ask for latest information first. Official postal registry receipt is proof of sending. For FDCs and covers one has to add the weight of the packing material. Depending on your country's corona measures, there might be delivery delays. In the unlikely event that you may want to return the stamps (possible within two weeks after receipt), kindly ask for advice.
