Discovered by Phillip Carteret 1767' to USA franked NZ 1d carmine tied 'PITCAIRN ISLAND N.Z POSTAL AGENCY.27.FE.36' c.d.s, 1939 paquebot envelope (slight foxing) to Scotland with NZ 1½d brown & GB ½d green & 1½d brown, tied by a boxed 'PAQUEBOT/POSTED AT SEA' & alongside a large 'PITCAIRN ISLAND/N.Z POSTAL AGENCY/23/JE/39' & 'LONDON.ES/27/JU/1939' c.d.s's plus later KGVI mail & 1960's FDC.
