OFFICIAL MAIL/N.Z FORCES FIJI/WWII/FIRST FLIGHTS 1906-94 range of envelopes/postcards with fine marks incl. 9th Nov 1941 censored first flight airmail envelope to US franked 1½d, 3d & 5d, tied by 'SUVA/FIJI/9 NOV 41' c.d.s's (3), alongside 'First Transpacific Air Mail Suva, Fiji to Noumea' cachet & a violet Australian diamond '2 PASSED BY CENSOR 1259' h/stamp with a 'RELEASED By Authority of District Postal Censor' h/stamp, enclosed label reads 'This cover was without contents when it reached Censorship. Being of a philatelic nature it has now been released.' (19 covers)
