1937 - 1952 SPECIALISED DEFINITIVE ISSUES COLLECTION in Davo album displayed and annotated to a high standard, fine mint with much never hinged, includes 1937-49 perf. 13½x14 3d all types, various imprint blocks, 3d Die I white wattles pair nhm & block 4 (small faults, stamps nhm), 3d Dia 1A block 4, 3d Die II block 4 nhm, also vertical pair with the hairline through 'L', 1s perf. guide mark strip 3, 1s Ash imprint block nhm and mint block 8, Robes 5s with offset nhm (corner perf pulled), 10s and £1 'SPECIMEN' nhm, imprint blocks 5s (5), 10s (3) and £1; perf. 15x4 ½d line on ear, 2d scarlet with medal flaw in pair with normal, 2d purple medal flaw and another inverted watermark, 4d offset, 6d 'top hat' within a block 9 nhm (cat. £2000), 1s roller flaw, coil stamps ½d block 4 , 2d scarlet pair, imprint blocks incl. 1½d green cracked imprint, values to 1s without imprint corner blocks; 1941 surcharges incl. 2½d on 2d misplaced, medallion flaw, 5½d on 5d misplaced; 1949-50 Arms incl. £2 roller flaw, corner blocks 4 with and without imprints, the three 'SPECIMEN' values; 1948-56 incl. ½d coil strip showing sky retouch, and much else (+/- 600 stamps)
