Une théière en argile chinoise (Yixing Zisha) en forme de souche d'arbre et de tiges de bambou, avec couvercle, sur laquelle se tient un singe tenant une noix de coco.
Très jolie décoration.

Bon état général.
Usure normale due à l’âge et l’utilisation.
(petite blessure à l'intérieur du couvercle).

Le sceau sous la base montre le caractère chinois stylisé 寿 (Shou), écrit dans l'écriture sigillaire traditionnelle (Zhuanshu).
Shou signifie « Longue Vie ».
C'est l'un des symboles de bonheur les plus respectés et les plus utilisés dans la culture chinoise.

Les deux sceaux sous le couvercle représentent souvent le nom de la fabrique et du potier spécifique.

Cette théière combine la symbolique de la souplesse et d'une longue vie (le bambou) avec celle de l'ingéniosité et du succès (le singe).
