    The Standard Catalog of World Coins (Krause publication) lists this issue as 40% silver. Not sure what the other 60% is. the 1- and 2-ore coins are bronze and the higher denomiation issues go up in silver content, up to 60% and 80%

    "Silver" like US half dollars in the late '60s/early '70s or Canadian coins of the same time; still better than no silver. . .
    I've checked another site which lists world coins and it doesn't say what the rest of the 60% of the coin is composed of either.
