First Day Declaration of Independence - Banner, Wyo. #1691-2

First Day of Issue of the Declaration of Independence stamps.

The cover sports a label with the official logo of the Wyoming Bicentennial Commission. It is stamped with two of the Declaration of Independence stamps (Scott #'s 1691 - 1692), the Francis Scott Key stamp (Scott #962), and the Wyoming Statehood 50th Anniversary stamp (Scott #897). It is cancelled with a black waving flag cancel in Banner, Wyoming, on July 4, 1976, the first day of issue of the Declaration of Independence stamps.
