First Day of Issue of the Declaration of Independence stamps (Scott #´s 1691 - 1694) cancelled in Banner, Wyoming, on July 4, 1976, with a black waving flag cancel.
The cover sports a label with the official logo of the Wyoming Bicentennial Commission. It is stamped with the four Declaration of Independence stamps, the 8 cent American Revolution Bicentennial stamp (Scott #1432) and the Wyoming Statehood 50th Anniversary stamp (Scott #897).
The positions of the cancels and the stamps on the two covers differ slightly on these hand-crafted items.
