Cover stamped with the 5 cent Skymaster Air Mail stamp (Scott #C32). Canceled in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on October 1, 1946, with a 7-wavy-line killer.
The green cachet on the grey-tinted cover shows an image of a twin-engine "flying boat" airplane inside a shield with the words "First Flying Mail Car / On Route A.M. No. 1 / U. S. Air Mail / United Air Lines"
The back of the addressed cover has a couple of black ink smudges. The front of the envelope has a ⅜" diameter coffee stain in the upper left corner.
The envelope has never been sealed. Size: 6 9/16 x 3 ⅝ "
