Eduardo Abaroa Hidalgo (San Pedro de Atacama, October 13, 1838 - Calama, March 23, 1879) was a Bolivian merchant and businessman.
After the outbreak of the War of the Pacific in 1879, which pitted his country against Chile, he voluntarily joined the Bolivian troops. During the Chilean invasion, he led civil resistance at the Battle of Topáter, where he died. Currently, he is considered one of the most important Bolivian heroes of the Pacific War and was posthumously recognized as a colonel.
