Contest rules
ARTICLE 1
This contest, which is organized by Delcampe International LTD (Delcampe), will be held during the period that was determined. This period will be determined
not later than the first contest day. Delcampe has the right to modify the starting and ending date of the contest, should this be necessary to allow the
contest to procede.
Participating in our contest is free and does not trigger any obligation to purchase an item of service.
ARTICLE 2
These rules set the conditions which have to be met when participating in this contest.
The original version in French (this is an English translation) will be considered as the reference point for all matters and has been translated as precise
as possibly.
ARTICLE 3
All members of Delcampe International LTD can participate in this contest, except for the following persons: co-workers of Delcampe and persons who have
worked on the contest. Are also excluded from participating in this contest: everyone who is related in the first degree to the people which were previously
mentionned, and all people who live under the same roof as the persons previously mentionned. Only individual participations will be held into account and
all group participations will be considered invalid. Patricipants who have not reached the age of 18, or the adult age in their country of residence, must be
given receive permission from their parents or legal guardian to participate in the Delcampe contest.
ARTICLE 4
Delcampe can exclude a participant at any given moment if one or more contest rules have been broken, and in case of abuse or cheating. All participants who
do not respect the Delcampe Terms and conditions will be excluded from the contest as well.
ARTICLE 5
Participating is only possible when using the internet and needs to be done in the following way: members can participate directly by visiting one of the
Delcampe websites, or they can select the link which has been sent by email. When selecting this link, they will be immediately sent to the contest page. The
participant will have to answer one or more multiple choice questions and a preliminary question to determine the winner in case of a tie. Each participant
has the right to participate in the contest for as many times as allowed, which is at least once a day. The participant will be identified by using the name
and address which have been registered when an account was opened. All names and e-mail addresses in which errors occur will be considered as invalid data.
ARTICLE 6
Delcampe cannot be held responsable if the contest has to be modified because of circumstances beyond our control.
ARTICLE 7
Delcampe does not give any guarantee concerning the prize. Delcampe cannot be held responsable if accidents should occur or in case the item has been damaged
in(directly). A prize cannot be devided and must be accepted as such.
ARTICLE 8
The contest includes one or more prizes which will be determined not later than the first contest day.
A prize cannot be traded.
ARTICLE 9
The winner will be selected from the persons who have answered the multiple choice question(s) correctly. The person whose answer to the preliminary question
is closest to the correct answer, will be chosen as the winner. In case of a tie, the answer which exceeds the correct number of participants will be
selected the winner. In case there still is a tie, the first participation will be chosen as the winning one. The correct response must be given by selecting
the correct answer, except for the preliminary question. All responses will be registered electronically when determining a winner. Afterwards, the winner will be contacted on the email address which has been registered under his name.
The winner agrees to send Delcampe a picture of himself before the prize is sent to him so Delcampe can publish an article about the contest, the winner and the prize. The winner also accepts to send a picture of himself with the prize to Delcampe once he has received the item.
ARTICLE 10
Delcampe has the right to modify the contest and its course in case of unexpected circumstances or circumstances beyond its control. Delcampe will not be
held responsable if the contest should be interrupted, postponed or aborted.
ARTICLE 11
Delcampe has the right to use the winner's name, nickname and location (Country and town) for publicitary means.
ARTICLE 12
In case circumstances beyond our control occur, Delcampe has the right to take any decision which are needed to guarantee the that the contest can proceed,
and no appeal can be made against these decisions.
ARTICLE 13
All participants can check out the contest rules on the Delcampe website at all times and print out a copy.
ARTICLE 14
The registered name and surname will be used when contacting the winners, who can access and modify this data at all times as stated in the Delcampe Terms
and Conditions. This data will not be transmitted to a third party without the member's consent.
ARTICLE 15
All costs which have been made by participating in the contest, like internet connection, are at the participants expense. The participant cannot charge fees
to Delcampe for having participated in this contest.
ARTICLE 16
Delcampe cannot be held responsable for technical problems to the website and/or to the mailing system. Neither can Delcampe be held responsable in case the
participant has problems with software or hardware equipment when participating in the Delcampe contest.
ARTICLE 17
When participating in this contest, the participant accepts the contest rules unconditionally and no complaints can be taken into account. Every complaint
must be send by ordinary mail to the Delcampe headquarters within 7 working days (proven by postal stamp). Complaints by telephone or any other non-written
form will not be treated, as well as all complaints which have not been made before the given term. Every rule is liable to the Belgian law and any legal
disputes will be settled at the courthouse in Mons in the province of Hainaut, Wallonia.
