PhilaNed is de website waar postzegelverzamelaars uit de hele wereld hun verzameling kunnen presenteren. Een website waarop u uw schitterende verzameling kunt laten zien. Het is tevens de plek waar u, op uw gemak thuis, de verzamelingen van anderen kunt bewonderen. Naast een “ internet” tentoonstelling is PhilaNed ook een website waar heel veel te zien en te leren valt. Iedereen die postzegels verzamelt en een beetje “computert” kan deelnemen aan PhilaNed.
Sluitingsdatum voor deelname is 28 februari 2002 via www.philaned.nl/ . Tot die tijd wordt de site vooral gebruikt voor informatie, het tonen van enkele voorbeelden en het insturen van uw bijdragen.
Van april tot oktober 2002 zullen naar verwachting ruim 1000 inzendingen te zien zijn op de PhilaNed site, met per dag, duizenden bezoekers van over de gehele wereld.
Behalve op internet zal “PhilaNed” in gebruik zijn tijdens de tentoonstelling “PhilAalsmeer 2002”, van 22 t/m 24 maart 2002 te Aalsmeer en in november 2002 zal “PhilaNed” gebruikt worden tijdens de “Themanifestatie” in Dieren ter gelegenheid van het 50 jarig bestaan van de N.V.T.F. Tevens zijn er plannen een aantal inzendingen te selecteren voor een presentatie tijdens “Amphilex 2002” (van 30 augustus tot 3 september in de RAI te Amsterdam) ter gelegenheid van 150 jaar Nederlandse postzegels.

The featured Romanian stamp is of Strimtori Dam from a page of Dams on Stamps which is one of the exhibits. (A buttress dam with a ski jump splillway for dam fans)
