BOOKS: SHIPPING CHARGES. In order to keep our shipping charges for books to the minimum; our total shipping charge ( Post & Packing), quoted for books only, will always amount to less than the charge made by Royal Mail for postage alone  -  We will be pleased to quote you a shipping charge before you decide whether or not to buy a particular book or books.

PHOTOGRAPHS  Photographs can be deceptive, particularly in showing correct depths of shade. We have concentrated on showing any faults on covers etc. Consequently, occasionally the shades in the photos may be misleading. However, if you email us for details of colour (or any other queries) we will be happy to respond.

OUR DEFINITION OF UNMOUNTED MINT (UM). Our Definition of ‘Unmounted Mint (UM) is: When the gummed side of a stamp is exposed to natural light it shows no sign of ever having been mounted with a hinge. The stamp may not necessarily have full (100%) gum.

STANLEY GIBBONS CATALOGUE NUMBERS The S.G. catalogue numbers given in the items we offer for Fixed Price Sale or Auction are not guaranteed. They are listed in the genuine belief that they are correct at the time any item is uploaded onto the Delcampe site. If the S.G. catalogue number or numbers that are given for a stamp, stamps, any set, collection of stamps, or a stamp, or any number of stamps, attached to a cover or a piece, or any other material, are found to be incorrect, our full refund guarantee applies (see below). Where S.G. numbers are not given; the price is usually based on the lowest of the possible options.

PERSONAL INSPECTION: Prior-Inspection-Before-Purchase and Collection (against cash payment at that time), at our Seaford, East Sussex, England, address, or at our bank, can be arranged, by appointment, for any item or items where the total exceeds £25.00 - email us for details. 

PAYMENT DETAILS:  ALWAYS WAIT FOR OUR INVOICE BEFORE MAKING ANY PAYMENT AS THIS WILL INCLUDE THE CORRECT (DEPENDENT UPON WEIGHT) SHIPPING CHARGE FOR YOUR PURCHASE/S. PLEASE NOTE:  (1) ALL UNDERPAID PAYPAL PAYMENTS RECEIVED WILL BE RETURNED TO THE SENDER LESS ANY PAYPAL FEES CHARGED TO OUR ACCOUNT. (2) UNDERPAID CASH TOTALS WILL BE HELD UNTIL THE CORRECT CASH TOTAL IS RECEIVED. (4) IF PAYMENT IS MADE BEFORE RECEIPT OF OUR INVOICE;  ANY COMMISSION CHARGES ON THE SALE THAT HAVE BEEN MADE AGAINST US WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE RETUNED PAYMENT  -  ALWAYS WAIT FOR OUR INVOICE !!!!!

PAYMENT PROCEDURES: When paying by PayPal, make payment to: mjnunn@mjcollectables.co.uk.  We only accept cash for 'PERSONAL COLLECTION' transactions made in Seaford, and payment must be in Bank Of England notes. Sorry, but we do not accept any other form of coinage due to Rates Of Exchange variations.

If you agree the shipping charges, please confirm receipt of this notification to: “mjnunn@mjcollectables.co.uk” as soon as possible - This will ensure that the item/s will be held for you for a period of twelve (12) days, if you need to make arrangements with PayPal for payment. 
If we do not receive payment within twelve days of sending our invoice, without a satisfactory reason being given, the sale will be cancelled and your name added to our blacklist, thereby preventing you from attempting to make purchases from mjcollectables-on-line. 

As a buyer, you cannot add any more items to an invoice at a later date or time. If you want to purchase further items at a later date or time, you will receive a separate invoice for those items. You cannot combine payments. Each Invoice total must be paid for separately.

 SHIPPING PROCEDURES:  Small items i.e. covers etc. are sent by Ist Class Post in U.K. and by airmail overseas. Items that fit the Royal Mail Large Letter category will be sent by 2nd Class Royal Mail (2-3 days delivery).  Larger items will be sent by the Royal Mail Packet category (2-3 days delivery).  Parcels over 1kg sent by Royal Mail Standard Parcel Post (3-5 working days delivery).  Overseas buyers for light to medium weight items will have the option of Royal Mail Surface Mail and/or Royal Mail Air Mail where possible. Otherwise Royal Mail Surface Mail only, unless Royal Mail Air Mail is particularly preferred Please e-mail us for an airmail fee-quote on a particular item.  PACKING:  Covers and similar items sent in envelopes are transit-protected by cards both sides of the item. Small books and similar items are transit-protected by individually sealed air-bubble-lined with Tough Kraft Outers. Larger and or heavier books and similar items are transit-protected by air-sealed bubble-wrap-lined cardboard boxes. Non-fragile items are securely parcelled. Newspapers and un-framed maps are protected by cardboard tubes.  Wherever possible; re-claimed cardboard is used. Items are normally dispatched within two days of receiving confirmation of payment.  Note: despite the cost of providing this high-rate of transit-protection, you may be pleasantly surprised to discover how reasonable our shipping charges are. Incidentally, you can always go to the Delcampe 'ASK A QUESTION' facility, to obtain the actual cost of shipping any particular item before deciding to whether or not to purchase the item.

RETURNS POLICY:   If you are not entirely satisfied, in any way, with the condition, description accuracy, etc., of any item you have purchased from mjcollectables-on-line, within specific time limits, You are entitled to a refund provided that we receive the returned item/s within the following limits. The TIME LIMIT period begins on the day the goods were shipped to the buyer (we hold Royal Mail “Certificates of Posting” for all shipped items). The TIME LIMIT periods for refund claims are: UK. 8 days. Western Europe:13 days by Airmail. 21 days by Surface Mail. Eastern Europe: 14 days by Airmail. 5 weeks by Surface Mail. Outside Europe: 14 days by airmail. 13 weeks by Surface Mail. All Time Limits include all items shipped by “Recorded Signed For” and “International Signed For” services. Goods must be returned in their original condition, and in the original packing (or equivalent). We will not accept any goods returned that are damaged. The purchaser will pay for insurance (if any) and postage costs incurred in returning the goods. When we receive the goods; we will send a confirmation email of receipt and, provided the aforementioned requirements have been met, the purchaser will be reimbursed in full with the value of the item plus costs charged for shipping to the buyer. LOST IN SHIPPING CLAIMS FOR REFUND: We adhere to the Royal Mail requirement for any item deemed to have been ‘Lost In Shipping’: The stipulation is that: The sender cannot make a claim to Royal Mail for reimbursement for any item appearing to have been ‘Lost In Shipping’ until the following days from the date of posting have elapsed: UK: Items sent by 1st Class, 2nd Class, Standard Parcels and Recorded Signed For are not classed as lost by Royal Mail until after 15 working days (Mon-Sat) from the date of posting have elapsed. Europe: Items sent by 1st Class, 2nd Class, Standard Parcels and Recorded Signed For are not classed as lost by Royal Mail until after 20 working days (Mon-Sat) from the date of posting have elapsed. Outside Europe: Items sent by 1st Class, 2nd Class, Standard Parcels and Recorded Signed For are not classed as lost by Royal Mail until after 25 working days (Mon-Sat) from the date of posting have elapsed. Once the applicable waiting time is reached, a buyer should apply to us for full reimbursement (including shipping charges). We will then send a claim for compensation to Royal Mail. Only after Royal Mail have made their investigations into a compensation claim for an item or items ‘Lost in Shipping’, and have settled the compensation claim to mjcollectables-on-line will full re-imbursement (including shipping charges) be made to a buyer) - If you cannot agree to the conditions listed above, you should not purchase any items from mjcollectables-on-line.
