These stamps were issued by the Official Postal Administration of "The Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia" (Croatian: Hrvatska Republika Herceg-Bosna) which still issues stamps as an autonomous postal adminstration ( Like Åland betwen Finland and Sweden or Jersey, Guernsey etc) Today it forms part of "the Bosnian Federation". The federation forms together with "Republika Serbska" "the REPUBLIC BOSNA & HERCEGOWINA". "The Republic of BOSNA & HERCEGOWINA" has THREE postal administrations; republican,croatian and serbian. All still issue their own stamps valid for postage worldwide.
Today The croatian postal administration has removed the text "Hrvadske Republike Herceg-Bosna and use only "HP mostar" on their stamps. "HP" stands for "Croatian Post Mostar". Mostar is the former capital of former "the Croatian Republic of Bosna-Hercegovia."
Today Mostar is the center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation mentioned above.
