Interesting item being this printed Cape Verde pc (published Auty series, Whitley Bay), undivided back and addressed to Bradford. Message to front "This is a small island where we called at the other day". Has partial foreign postmark to centre back of card (I can see date of 29 UT 1905 and R.de MDO but rest unclear), but EDVII 1d stamp has been cancelled with a three diagonal line killer cancel! Corner bend bottom right but a scarce item. |
