Remarques : Gravure et impression de grande qualité, état de conservation parfait.

Cette superbe réimpression à été réalisée par la célèbre maison d´édition Adachi de Tokyo fondée en 1925. Adachi étant connue pour avoir édité de nombreuses estampes très recherchées par les collectionneurs.

Le Sceau de la maison Adachi est visible et lisible en hiragana au verso de l´image, dans le coin inférieur droit, imprimé à l´encre noir (アダチ).

Inspiré par le style et les techniques occidentales (1789-1801), Hokusai travaille beaucoup les perpectives en trois dimensions et le traitement des ombres et de la lumière.

Un autre aspect de son travail particulièrement développé dans cette estampe est l´impression de haut et de bas, de devant et de derrière des éléménts présentés.

Pour l´époque Hokusai montre un grand esprit d´ouverture vers la culture occidentale

Notes: Perfect state of conservation.
This superb reprint from the fifties was realized by the famous publishing house Adachi from Tokyo founded in 1925. Adachi is known to have published numerous prints which later became very prized by collectors.
The Seal of the house Adachi is visible and legible in hiragana on the back of the image in the lower right corner, printed in black ink (アダチ).
Inspired by the style and Western techniques (1789-1801), Hokusai works focused on the developement of three dimensions perpectives and the treatment of shadows and light.
Another aspect of his work particularly well developed in this print is the impression of high and low, front and rear.
For the time Hokusai shows a great openness to Western culture.
