AS DELCAMPE SEEMS TO BE GROWING STEADILY IT MIGHT BE WORTHWHILE INCLUDING A SPANISH VERSION OF THE SIGHT.THERE ARE MANY COLLECTORS ( BUYERS AND SELLERS ) ON THE SPANISH MARKET WHO ARE INTERESTED IN EXPANDING INTERNATIONALLY AND WHO ARE LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE TO EBAY BUT DUE TO LANGUAGE DIFFICULTIES FEEL INHIBITED AT USING OTHER SITES. ANYWAY, JUST A PROPOSAL - I HOPE TO DO GOOD BUSINESS AT DELCAMPE AND MEET INTERESTING PEOPLE.......

a great suggestion. as i live in a town with a large spanish community (tampa, florida) and have many spanish speaking collectors in my stamp club, i think this would be a boon to the delcampe site seb. if you have a translator on your team, it is time to get busy. and the cajun has latinos in his family too. his great uncle was a mexican, i have cuban nieces, and my daughter in law is filipino who speaks spanish. and i was born in san antonio, texas. dad was stationed there while in the army. and i love tex-mex-spanish-cajun cooking. ate some chili today. our cajun jambalaya comes from the spanish paella. ain't it a small world, too bad we can't all speak the same language-PEACE.

if i was about 30 years younger and single again, and you weren't married or if you aren't, well you are one good looking gal. most spanish women are beauties and you are no exception. just kidding about the chasing. i got me a good woman who takes good care of the ol' cajun esp. after he got shot up in vietnam. and believe me, i'm falling apart now. and my wife can cook so if you ever come to tampa, come and visit us. i'll show you the stamp club and busch gardens, and eat some paella in ybor city. take care.

Anyway I guess Spanish people should not wait till the Spanish version is ready since there are already a good deal of Spanish-speaking people around here, so nothing to be afraid of.

this is so true. seb's site is international no matter what the language is. if i have a problem with the language used, i just use my on web translation service. it has enough languages there to help to a descent job to get the gist of what someone is saying. i guess i would get a lot of flack for saying this, but i wish that english was the world standard language and it may become that in the future with the computers being utilized so much. it is just so difficult to learn, read, and write russian, chinese, hebrew, and arabic if you catch my drift. i ain't slamming your languages as i am of french heritage and it is also part of my mother tongue too. but i was raised in america and this is my language. and i am going to learn some tagalon, one of the filipino tongues as my daughter in law and grandbabies are from there. but in the world, it is whatever floats your boat. take care everyone, just get along with each other and PEACE.

Welcome to Delcampe.
In theory you can upload auctions with bilingual titles spanish and english but it will be probably not very effective for prospective buyers unless for items in the spanish related categories, like philately > europe > spain.
Myself, for example, I put my auction titles and descriptions both in english and french since this are the two major languages of the site.

I believe Mr. Delcampe, the owner of the site, is working on a spanish version of the site since I've seen in the french version of the site, some days ago, a job advert for a spanish speaking webmaster (the job is located in Belgium, of course, at Delcampe.com headquarters).
