Being relatively new on Delcampe, what options do I have when a Buyer purchases an item (in this case $7.00), then sends an email stating he wants to cancel the purchase?

Hi Nachthund.
That's bad luck especially when you're relatively new to Delcampe. You could try to get the seller to reconsider, but assuming that fails, there are 3 actions you should consider.
1. Go to your My Delcampe Control Panel, and under the general heading "My Delcampe fees" you will find a sub-heading "Unpaid item". Click on this and it will take you to a screen to enable you to report the unpaid item and be credited with your selling fees.
2. Add the buyer to your 'blacklist'
3. Leave the buyer negative feedback. I know some people are loath to do this as they fear to receive negative feedback in return, but it helps warn other sellers that the person has a history of non-payment.
Hope that's of some assistance,
Ron
