Happy Birthday.
Thank you very much Marianne - a bit late getting round to browsing the forum but I've been busy decorating a bedroom (and the office, and the bathroom, and the loo) but was allowed to finish early 'cos it's my birthday
P.S. I don't have candles on the cake anymore - wife used electric bulbs but I won't tell you the wattage!

Thank you very much Marianne - a bit late getting round to browsing the forum but I've been busy decorating a bedroom (and the office, and the bathroom, and the loo) but was allowed to finish early 'cos it's my birthday
P.S. I don't have candles on the cake anymore - wife used electric bulbs but I won't tell you the wattage!

as for the Candles I know what you mean..... The Health & Safety boys wont let me have them any more either..... well not without at least half of the Somerset fire brigade outside the front door anyway

No - because of the recession we've cut down on cake (it's now an iced bun from Greggs) and use low-wattage lamps so I can't even see to cut it...
