Would somebody translate this for me please. I've received an IBAN payment and don't know who it's from (it's for more than any non-paying customers owe and I don't recognise the name) I emailed this buyer and this was his response. Is he saying he did make the payment but through is wife's account?

Google translates it thus:

"this payment is the bank account so my wife has me"

That's more or less what I got.

I'll post off the card, but if it is him he's paid too much...and if it isn't him somebody is going to be quite cross with me.

The first bit says "this payment is from the bank account of my wife", but don't know what the "donc a moi" means.

I don't accept bank transfer, so I've never had that problem before, but I have occasionally received cash or stamps through the post without any explanation what it's for. Isn't it fun to have the occasional mystery to solve?

The translation is : "the payment is from my wife's account so the payment is mine".
It should be "so is mine" and we should understand "the payment is coming from me" or "the payment is coming from me".
