I wanted to list German's stamps of 1947, but can't find any category for these : is it missing or am I just too "..." to find it ?

bonjour corinne,
you would probably list your stamps under the 'allied occupation' category as most of these issues were created by these governments. this included the american, british, french, and soviet issues.

you would probably list your stamps under the 'allied occupation' category as most of these issues were created by these governments. this included the american, british, french, and soviet issues.

I'm speaking about Scott #530 ... 664 : they are not listed in Scott as occupation stamps.

yes, i understand what you mean. i also see that separate listings for the berlin issues and east germany are present in the scott german section too. and that may be a reason for this. these stamps were probably for use in the liberated zones not occupied by the soviets. by the by, your husband is german, wouldn't he know more of the history of this period than me. :what: my german ancestry is far beyond this time and the wars. michel would be the more definitive catalog to use. do you have one? if not, i may have one of the earlier ones. email me and i will let you know.

I final found them in an old Michel catalog : you're right (as always).

They have been used under "allied occupation/ allemagne occupationinter alliee/ Gemeinschaftsausgaben US/UK & Soviet zone.
