I have had enough of the P+P on Paypal payments not been added in so I am now in the process of removing all of my listings and putting them on the "other site"

I have it in BIG RED BOLD LETTERS about the buyer making sure it's added on payment....I even send the invoice with it added yet, through no fault of the buyer, when they click the pay button via Paypal it's not added.

Now, this is a fundamentally basic necessity in Ecommerce and has been a problem for ages and sellers....Delcampes customers... have been complaing about this as long as I have known yet Delcampe refuse to act, all they have done is sit back and watched and left it to sellers to pick up the pieces and sort it out.

OK, it only means refunding, sending an email, issuing a new Paypal invoice but most of the times they don't pay it or wait for weeks to realise what they have done and the whole buying experience is a mess when it happens

Sorry Delcampe, great concept, friendly site which I have seen grow over the years but failure to act on this has forced my hand and I will be ending all over the next few weeks :(

I understand your frustration. Having to contact your buyers a second time, asking them for another payment and not being sure you receive said payment is a time consuming process.

However, I want you to know that we have been listening to our members. As you may or may not know, a couple of months ago we added a feature which forces buyers to wait for the seller's approval of the invoice before they can go through with their payment.

We have also noticed though that sometimes the Shipping and handling fee isn't taken into account (even when it's mentioned on the invoice). We suspect that this issue is related to parameters used by the seller for the Shipping and Handling section of their PayPal account.

Could you please let us know what type of PayPal account you are using (Business, Premier) and provide us with a screen shot of your Shipping and Handling parameters?

Dimitri,
I am using Paypal Micro Payments.
I have checked my Parameters and all is OK.
This has been rumbling on for as long as I can remember Dimitri and the buyer made the payment AFTER I sent the invoice where I put the P+P on.
Some payments come through with it added, some not, it's hit and miss and if it was my parameters it would affect it all the time
